Oatmeal Container

Ok, so you know how your elementary kids teachers are always asking for random items? I now believe that they are asking for them so they can craft...I have sent so many empty containers to school for my kids teachers, and now I am totally kicking myself!

All you need for this project, is an oatmeal container, a candlestick holder, a finial or something similar for the top of your container, jute, paint and lots and lots of glue sticks.

Your are going to wrap the jute the same way I did the jute fruit awhile ago. It will take forever to wrap that much jute around, but it's worth it.
When you get the container covered, you will need to paint your candlestick holder, and your finial. When they are dry, sand them a little and then glaze them. When they are totally dry, take your e6000 glue and put everything together. Voila! The cheapest piece of decor in your house!!
